I am writing this very first blog post of mine to share my experiences
at my current research fellowship at the Indian Institute of Sciences at Bengaluru.
It's my day 2 at the campus and I seem to enjoy the ecosystem.
By ecosystem, I mean to say that IISC offers the best of both institutional and the perfect environment surrounding the campus.
Spread over 400 acres of land, the entire campus area is covered with trees and plants of all sizes.
Walking through this rich flora is more like making your way through a forest in case you dare to take the route less taken.
There is a pond right ahead.

Talking about the institutional ecosystem, if science has ever made you curious, then this is the place you need to be. Here you not only question your curiosity but get it solved. IISC provides shape and direction to your curiosity with the high-tech laboratories be it related to water, data science, chemistry, biology, nanoscience, physics, etc. you name it and every question of yours has a facility to help you reach your answers.
Since this is the first blog I would like to keep it short, in the upcoming blogs, I'll describe in detail about the various chapters of my experience at IISC. So stay tuned, there is a lot to come.
